LOW-GWP REFRIGERANT TO REPLACE R404A

R454a is a mildly flammable refrigerant with very low global warming potential (94% reduction versus R404a) and an optimal balance of properties for replacement of R404a in new equipment designs, including direct expansion low- and medium-temperature commercial and industrial refrigeration systems.

​Classified as mildly flammable, R454a allows much higher charge sizes than other flammable refrigerants and offers improved energy efficiency and higher cooling capacities.
